Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Vikello Words ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. License to Use

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Vikello Words on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and the Apple Standard End User License Agreement (STDEULA).

Purchasing or downloading the App does not transfer any ownership of the software, source code, or intellectual property to you. You are licensing the right to use the App — not buying it. All intellectual property rights in the App remain with the developer, Rafał Porzuc.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code
• Use the App for any commercial purpose without our written consent
• Remove any proprietary notices or labels on the App

3. Your Content

You own all content you create in Vikello Words — your quotes, notes, and photos. We do not claim any ownership over your content.

Your content is stored on your device and in your personal iCloud account. We do not have access to your content. You are responsible for maintaining backups of your data.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Vikello Words offers a free tier and optional premium plans. All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store.

• Free trial: New subscribers receive a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial period.
• Recurring subscriptions (Monthly / Yearly): After the trial, your subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can cancel at any time through your Apple ID account settings.
• Lifetime purchase: A one-time payment that grants permanent access to Premium features. Does not renew. No trial applies to Lifetime purchases.
• Refunds: Refunds are handled by Apple according to their refund policy. We do not process refunds directly.

5. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others. You agree not to use the App to store content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of third parties.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

We are not responsible for any loss of data. We strongly recommend enabling iCloud backup to protect your content.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, arising out of your use of or inability to use the App.

9. Changes to the App and Terms

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the App at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland, without regard to its conflict of law principles. The service is operated by Rafał Porzuc, an individual developer based in Poland.
